3 on 3 League Rules

Format and Rules:

Game Format

• Full-Court 3-on-3 Basketball (Modified Court Size)

• No coaches

• Teams consist of 3-5 players

• 20-Minute Running Clock

• 2 games the first 5 weeks followed by a championship tournament

Scoring

• All field goals are worth 2 points

• No 3-point shots

• Team with the most points at the end of regulation wins

Fouls

• All fouls will be called by a tournament referee

• Referee decisions are final

• Unsportsmanlike conduct may result in technical fouls or ejection from the tournament

Overtime

• If tied after regulation, a 2-minute overtime period will be played.

• If still tied, the game enters sudden death, with the first team to score declared the winner.

Sportsmanship

• Respect officials, opponents, teammates, and spectators.

• Tournament directors reserve the right to remove any player, coach, or spectator for inappropriate behavior.
